I have worked in the credentialing field in both health plans and hospital settings for over 19 years.  I am a current member and a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and a member of the Alabama Association of Medical Staff Services.   During my many years of credentialing provider applications and conducting delegation audits, one thing remains constant; providers usually don’t submit all information necessary to process their application for affiliation or renewal the first time.   There was such a need for someone who knows exactly what credentialing departments need to ensure provider applications are moved expeditiously through the credentialing process.

AppSource1 was established to assist providers and their staff with completing applications, which ensures faster approval of the credentialing process, access to payer’s membership, prompt reimbursement, and continued affiliation with payers and hospital staffs.
